I would go a step further with Quilt Nan; I would, next time, reverse the sash and frame colors and put the darker color on the bottom of the window. The scenes in the windows are lovely and the idea of using an Attic Window setting certainly works well with them.

Well, it looks like I have egg on my face. After my post, I decided to look at a gallery of attic windows quilts and I find that my suggestion to put the darker fabric on the bottom was wrong. Disregard my suggestion. Sorry for the bum steer.
