This is a great idea. I'm making a sampler, and have been debating on what sashing I should use. This is really neat I like it. And I've wanted to try the window look. Now I can consolidate them into one quilt. Can't wait to see the finished product.

I was trying to find a way to do the sampler since I only do one block style at a time so I figured this might work and I am very happy results All my blocks are 14" blocks and the window frame puts it at 18".. I am excited to do more window work..thanks for the feedback.

What a great idea. I'm a block maker-must have dozens of blocks because I love to try new patterns. Most are 12" and would be too large for potholders and I'm not real into just a sampler. Thank you--I think I'll try this.

I love the blocks you made and the colors you used-very nice.

that is a wonderful Idea . I always seem to have one or two blocks left over and have been stashing them to put together in a quilt but I wasn't sure how to tie them together .Good Idea!
