I had a few simple projects I found online to make for gifts. I made this cute fabric basket and I like it. I will make more but will use more up to date fabric and non frilly ribbon. I used plain batting in the sample. I'll probably go with deco bond and batting in the others. Here is the free pattern:

Oh I love that!!! Thanks for sharing the pattern. I'm already thinking of things you could put in for gifts.

My daughter grabbed the basket so I think it's an okay gift! I'm making one now from Halloween fabric, it will be bigger and deeper. I'm using fabric strips instead of ribbon. These are like making the pillowcases, addictive.

My friend and I made these several years back, we like to put napkins in them. We would make them for a season & then put corresponding napkins in them. Then we got involved in making the fabric bowls & made co-ordinating sets. Lots of fun.
