    Default Australian Animal Baby Quilt

I have wanted to make this quilt for a couple of years and finally got around to it. Going to use flannel for batting and Minkee for backing. Going to have to do some unsewing this morning. The top is over an inch wider than the bottom. Maybe I forgot to measure, you think? Oh, I forgot to mention this pattern is in Australian Patchwork & Quilting Magazine, Vol. 17 Num. 8.

Gorgeous! Sure wish that whole mag and all the patterns were online for those of us languishing outside OZ! Site is tantalizing though....... Ah well I'll have to make up my own then won't I?

I love quilts that depect our homeland or the area in which we live or tell a story about our life. In Texas I've seen quilts with cowbow boots and horses.

That one is a keeper. The quilts that depict the area we live in are great.
