I just had to share this. My mother-in-law recently moved to Arizona. She met some quilters there and decided to give to give quilting a try. She emails me questions, and it really takes me back, remembering all the things I had to learn. I am thrilled that she is giving quilting a shot.

She sent me her first completed item, and I think she did a fabulous job. Take a look!

What an honor that you got the 1st item made. Very nice. I hope she gets bit really good by the quiting bug:)

She did a great job picking fabrics and creating her first project. Looks like she is well on her way to becoming a seasoned quilter (smile). Thank you for sharing.

I like the subtileness of the colors and they all go so well with each other. Very lovely pillow.

What an honor-she took the words right out of my mind! MIL did great and should be proud. If she used to live close to you she is going to wish she started quilting sooner so you could have helped!
