    Default Avalanche !

That sure is what it feels like I have been trapped under for the past few days ! I am on the last leg of finishing the quilt for my grandmothers bed. I thought I was being so smart doing the QAYG method , quilting the individual blocks first, then joining with sashing .... well, I didn't think about how that meant I would have to wrestle this HUGE 85 x 85 size quilt through my machine to ATTACH said sashing !
This is what I have been dealing with !

I am only 1 LONG sashing away from being done ( minus the binding of course ) . I am actually REALLY thrilled with the results thus far and can not wait to spread it out and take some pics to show you !

I know how you feel....I am just about to load my DIL string quilt under my machine to get some quilting done. Your quilt looks absolutely gorgeous..look forward to seeing it all spread out so we can see the pattern.

I saw a tutorial that showed how to quilt bed sized quilts with your short arm machine. It said to do it in quarters, then join the quarters together and then the halves. Looked reasonable! But, it still looked hard!
