Default Vintage 9 patch I rescued

I found this vintage 9 patch on ebay about 5 years ago and decided to rescue it. It was in one large piece but someone had cut a big chunk out of it. It was hand pieced with beautiful fabrics from the 1930's so I took apart the seams and redesigned the quilt top. I added the borders and the decorative flowers and rickrack. It is one of my favorite quilts and if you could see the colors, OH MY. These photos are not really good at showing how beautiful the fabrics are, the colors and designs are just fantastic. Everyone loves this quilt. I rescue many many vintage quilts and have decided to show them, if it works. I have a great deal of trouble posting pictures and stopped trying for a long time. Hopefully you can see them this time.

Just beautiful. What a wonderful rescue. One mans trash is another mans treasure.

Your pictures are great and that quilt is stunning. I love the floral border with the rickrack - what a great touch.

You did a beautiful job. Glad you were able to rescue someone's project from years ago.
