Beautiful quilt. I have two quilts put aside for grand babies to come. Neither of my kids are married yet. 30 and 28 and still waiting. (me that is) I also have two baby quilt kits waiting to be made for same babies to come. I make baby quilts for the grand nieces and nephews all the time, but these are very special.
My mom was terminally ill, so she knew she wouldn't be here for all the great grand babies. She knit, crocheted and did counted cross stitch. She made a load of things that I have in her hope chest. As a new baby arrives I pick a few things to give from "Nana Smith". She's been gone for 7 yrs.
