My very MODERN PURPLE quilt
I posted the finished top back during a snow storm. Let me see, was that last week or a month ago?
But it's finished and will be on its way to Switzerland in a few days. One yard of nine different batiks, cut into nine blocks,...... and then decorated!! I decided to pick up the leaf theme from the backing and carry it to the front to soften the angular lines. Then I finished it with a modern geometric straight line design. It married very well. I'm sure the intended very Modern couple will be pleased.

ps. I'll bet I couldn't find those batiks again if I tried.
