Default Baby quilt I did not like finally done...now I like it!

I posted on the board last week how I usually "bond" with a quilt. Well, this one I never did. But now that it is done and going to the recipient today I like it much better. It will be traveling with the grandmom to Nevada on Christmas Day as the mom just gave birth this past Tues to the little girl!!

You didn't bond until the intended recipient was born, that's all!!! The quilt didn't know who it was going to live with before, and now it does. It's beautiful - you did a nice job.

That is a pretty quilt for a baby girl Sometimes it is hard to like a quilt until you see it completed, I have had this problem a couple of times as well. It turned out great, and I'm sure mom an baby will love it!

Quilts are very much your children's freinds, some of them you love and are happy to have in the house, while some you wish would go away and stay away.....uh huh....all mothers know what I am talking about....quilts seem to be the same way. You can have the easiest pattern in the world and for some reason, every step of the way that "easy" pattern gives you grief....and those are the "children" you would like to stay at THEIR house...but it is a very pretty quilt and the recipient will be thrilled, that is what counts in the end!

I have trouble finishing a quilt if I don't 'bond'...but, like you, it usually turns out fine
