This is my quilt #4....I am going to set up a booth at our fall festival. Won't have tons of stuff but this is my first thing. It is a pink and green baby girl quilt. All flannel front and back, very middle block has an embroidery on it.

How much can you sell something like this for? I have about $13 in the materials and about a weekend (leisurely) in work. Did not work all day or anything. Really about 4 or 5 hours total.

Measures approx 36 wide by 48 long. Good for a crib....
What do you think?
How much would you do?

I know we put all that time in our quilts and are so protective, but , we don't get paid for our work. If u get $40 for it, you should be happy. Work your crowd and get them interested, do more top stitching etc. then raise your prices. jmo

I think $40-$50 should be a reasonable price. If it doesn't sell for that and you have a buyer just pineing over it, maybe tell them to come back later and if you still have it, you can "talk" price.

Yeap $40.00 at the least since it's usually 3 times the cost of materials. Makes me sick that that would go for only $40.00 if you do the math well really $39.00 that is why i never sold my afghans if I spent $60.00 on the material who would pay $180.00? NO ONE so I never tried to sell.

So $40.00 is more than reasonable, you'd pay that at Walmart and it's not as nice, tell them that.

I agree with the $40.00 range. Its not much and it wouldmake me sick for it to go for so little, but you may have lots of people competing over it cause its so cute!

I agree $ 40.00 would be a good price.

Wow, you guys are great. I knew you would know the answer. I may even get ahold of a Penneys catalog and cut a picture and price of something comparible out.

I really appreciate the kind words and feedback.
Thanks so much,
Tracy

That is really cute! I love the colors. You shouldn't have any trouble selling it.
