I just looked at your baby quilt...it's beautiful and so is the other one! I made a baby quilt for my grandson, using teddy bear/ alphabet blocks and bright primary colors. I made the quilt for his first "big boy" bed when he was 4 yrs old. Recently, he came over to spend a few days with me and he brought it. He is 20 yrs old now and he says it's still his favorite quilt!

I love your story. It is great when you know that something you made many years ago still has such special meaning for someone

how cute is the baby quilt! Where did you find the fabric? I have searched everywhere for albhabet fabric for baby quilt backing.

Thanks, the panel and the border and binding fabrics are part of a line called "Hungry Animal" which I actually found at a local mennonite shop here in Ontario. I am not sure where you are from but I have seen some of this line at several online shops as well.

That is certainly a different variation on the red, white and black theme! Neat! The baby quilt looks snuggly and warm, perfect for a baby!! :thumbup:
