I did not have any luck finding anymore of M. E.; Baskets of Flowers, so, I made this for my nieces' new baby from a charm pack of Mary Engelbreit's Baskets of flowers and from the pattern at Sewmamasew -http://www.sewmamasew.com/store/medi...sBabyQuilt.pdf
Inspiration for the elephant - http://cicadadaydream.blogspot.com/2...r-dogwood.html
The pattern- I enlarged by about 1/2 inch.

Our service providers tower took a direct lightning hit,and we didn't have internet service for two weeks. The first three days , I went into detox. But, after that I really accomplished quite a bit.
It's amazing what you can do when you can't get your QB fix. It was a really quick quilt and I enjoy making Ellie the Elephant too. :thumbup:Oops, forgot to snap one of the back, it's the same as Ellie's body, will try to post it later. ****Tip**** the ears on Ellie make crinkling sounds, I used the wrapper from the cheap pop tarts, they make the best sound.

Adorable quilt and elephant! I love the colors and the baby will enjoy the "sound effects" with the elephant ears! Great idea.
