Here is a baby quilt version of the quilt I'm doing for dil's mom for her birthday. It has 4 blocks in the center, and each block has 55 pieces. I nearly went blind, but am pleased with the results.

baby quilt from fons and porter pattern, coordinating light, medium and dark fabrics

Very pretty, I do love yellow and blue.
I was told one told one time by an elderly quilting friend, all baby quilts should include yellow. It is suppose to bring good health to the baby

I had never heard that. I will make sure to include some yellow for the grandbaby's quilt due in June. I always learn something new every day from this board. Never ceases to amaze me.

This quilt is amazing. Your colors pop. It is a very happy quilt. Who could look at it and NOT smile?
