This is a picture of the baby/toddler quilt I helped my Mom with. It's really not as easy as it looked!

We tied it because the backing got ripped as we were sewing and, rather than give up on it, we added another layer of material on the back then tied it.

The little sweetheart is my niece Marin and she got it when she was about a year and a half(?).

Great quilt. I have been wanting to make a bisquit quilt. Was it really difficult? Great job and thanks for sharing.

So very pretty, and I like the quilt, too :D That is an awesome quilt, so puffy and fluffy and purty, it will be so nice to crawl under it on a cold winter night :D

that's a great quilt and an adorable little girl! I've made 2 biscuits quilts and they do get hard to handle because they are so heavy and bulky, good job.

The quilt is great but I can hardly look at it for staring at that beautiful baby.

I agree with Lillian! LOL Hard to pull your eyes away from the baby! I made a biscuit quilt one time years ago....out of silk! I put a flannel back on it and a gal I know bought it from me to give to her new grandbaby....well, she brought it back...guess some of the silks I used were pretty old and fell apart on her...I felt SO bad! My daughter ended up with it....she said she didn't care that it was kind of falling apart....she loved it! LOL
