I made this with the hopes of selling it, then decided to wait till I had more stuff and then maybe venture onto Etsy as a seller... then I decided to try other sewing... got some fabric, made a few of the Kleenex travel pack holders... enjoyed that, then decided to try the rag quilt for step son... sort of enjoyed that... so now I am working on the rail fence, enjoying that so far :)

Well Etsy still waits.. eventually I will gather up my completed projects (knitted items, crocheted items, sewn items, and odds and ends) and put them on Etsy...

well enough about that... here is the bag that started it all..
I have been tossing around the idea to make a belt using the same fleece it is lined with, for a belt for the purse. (It doesn't have a zipper, as I don't know how to put in a zipper yet)

That is really cute. I know that I have a friend who sells on a different site than etsy because etsy charges money to sell. It was some kind of quilt classifieds website. Not sure of the name right now but I can check if you are interested?

mamaquilter, sure I am interested in seeing where she sells.

Thank you painaics and mamaquilter for the kind words. it did turn out to be a cute purse, and a learning experience. (many layers of denim is hard to sew though... go very s l o w when sewing the lining where the belt loops are.

next one will be a little different, but that will have to wait, I got a quilt that is in my head and screaming to come out :)

Time to go to bed, meds kicking in, making it hard to concentrate and type

I called her and she said it was quiltmama classifieds.
I haven't personally sold on there but I know some ladies who have and they seem to love it. Especially since it is free and free is always good, lol. :) :) :)
