What a great set, she can use the smaller one every day and carry the large one as a shopping bag when out and about picking up a few things - they are wonderful!

I had planned to get a pretty button from the quilt shop to finish the small bag, but the ones they had were too large. This one came from Walmart - I liked it so well I got enough to finish the big bag, too. And ... you were right ... when not on the white backing they don't look quite as much like eyeballs! (I only have one button on the big bag yet, but will put another - it has pockets front and back.)

I did put a piece of foam board in the bottom of each bag. I really think the smaller bag would really droop if you didn't do that. I made a little sleeve to put the foam board in - and left one end open - tucking it under the board. It could be taken out and washed if necessary.

Very pretty bags, like the button idea and the change to a snap closure... I never met a true 2 hour project lol :-)

Great bags and color choices. The buttons make them "finished". I was given one of the tulip bags already cut out. I agree that the 2 Hr. must have been a joke.
