Well, I did it! I finished another quilt top. Got the pattern - Bali Candy Box and the Bali Pop at the Lancaster Quilt show in 2010 and just decided to pull it out and piece it as I got more familiar with my new 830 LE. It came together very nicely and before it was even done, my eldest daughter saw it and fell in love with it. She loves batiks as much as I do and quickly claimed it as her own. :-) That makes me happy to know that it will go to a good home. ;-)
Now to learn how to use my machine on the quilting frame (after I get the frame set up full size and put on the leaders, which scares me to death  ) and get this top into the finished category. Wish me luck!

Thanks for looking and Happy Fourth!

That is beautiful. I love that you brought the aqua boxes color out into the border color. It is wonderful

Thanks for all your kind comments. I cut most of the pieces while we traveled to Chicago and back in May. That was tedious, but I used my June Taylor shape cutter (I think that is what it is called) and it made it a little less painful ;-).

Thanks for looking.
