Default Trying to design a quilt for my sister

Her bedroom colors are burgundy and gold and she likes floral. Browsing fabrics I came across this center panel and I just love it. The design is somewhat like a quilt I saw on searching for Asian panel quilts for ideas. I've been fussing with this for hours and still not sure about it. It looks plain but then I think that the Asian fabrics and the panel are the focus. I could do each fan in a different fabric and a very textural quilting pattern in the plain areas would jazz it up too. The sashing is a gold metallic scroll design.

What do you think?

My goodness, that's a GREAT design! Quit fussing over it and get sewing!

I agree that textural quilting will only enhance the quilt.

Can't wait to see the finished product!

Thank you for the feedback. Looking at something for so many hours it's hard to "see" it clearly.

I have the fabrics in my cart ready to check out. Changed some of them but I also have FQs in Asian fabrics that I can use for the fans. Sent this to my sister to ask if this is what she wants.
