Love everything about this quilt. Just one question, did you do the
flip and sew to assemble it as your quilting follows the rows or did you do a SID . I have seen instructions for the flip and sew but was afraid it would not be straight trying to move all that fabric, batting and backing.

Mine is 50" x 38". You can make a bargello any size that you want. The pattern for mine had it square and I didn't want square, so I shortened the width of the strips (from 3 1/2" to 2 3/4"). The book I took my pattern from was "Bargello Quilts" by Marge Edie. She teaches you the concepts as well as giving you precise patterns and also teaches you how to add variations into each of them. I do mine a little differently, in that, I use gridded fusible interfacing, in order to keep it square. So buy a book and get started. This is my second one. The first is my avatar. I may change to this one.
