Default Barn Block

The barn block that I made is ready to hang on our all white barn (yes, even the roof is all white--one of those new-fangled metal deals)
The block is eight feet by eight feet in size and called " End of Day"
I chose the colors because we have a yellow house, the lake beyond is blue and we have many mature green trees on the property.
The DH says we'll get the block hung when the new siding on the barn is completed this summer.

It's going to look super!! Just love to see quilt blocks on barns. You'll have to post a picture when it is attached.

Nice. A lady I know (that does not quilt)thought barn quilts were actually made from fabric. Funny.

I love the barn quilts and you is beautiful It will look fantastic when it is up. Please post a pic when you get it hung. We have a quilt barn driving route that I will be going on when the weather gets nice again. Quite a few barns in our County have barn quilts on them.

Thanks to all of you. The block was way easier to get completed than I ever realized it would. Definitely, I'll do a photo to share when it gets hung on that all white barn this summer.
Thanks especially to my Minnesota peers--and doesn't a quilt barn driving route sound great!?

It looks excellent and all your points match perfectly! Are you going to hang it straight or on point in the peak of the barn's roof?
