I just finished the binding on this basketball quilt for my grandson, Jake, who will be 11 next Thursday. I long-armed it at the LQS and, for all the mistakes and bunching up I would have created on the back had I tried this by myself, it was well worth the $36 it cost me to rent the machine.
I backed it with flannel; it kept me so warm while binding. :D
