My husband and I were in Joann's and he decided he wanted a quilt. LOL So, he picked out some batik fat quarters and we went with black for the borders and back. When we got to the counter, the salesman gave us this confused look and asked what we were going to make with that. I think he commented on how bright the colors were, and I got the impression he thought my house must be tie dye. LOL My husband picked out the pattern as well, so I think he has a good quilting eye. :-)

Was this hard to do? I absolutely love the french braid - but I've been a little leery to try it because it looks like it could become very skewed without much effort.

BTW - I think your husband has a pretty good eye too.
Very pretty quilt

Looking at the French braid quilts I have seen on the board, I thought they were really hard too. They actually go together very quickly, and it was a quick way to use some fat quarters. There are free instructions online that are easy to follow too.
