    Batik Shining Star quilt, this one is for me

    Tonight, finished the quilt...even learned to sew the ends of the binding together. The binding is sewn to the back, folded over the front, and zigzagged. For the back, I used some pretty flannel that was in my stash, using a modified "wickedly easy" pattern. The size is about 72 inches square....perfect for keeping toasty in the recliner.

    Very pretty and very cozy with flannel back. Your roses came out nice. One of these days, I'll try some.
