This is my finished Batman quilt. I had originally posted it when it was too busy and received some great suggestions on how to fix it. It's still somewhat busy, but much more tolerable :D

The pattern is square-in-a-square from Quilters cache http://quilterscache.com/S/Squareswi...res2Block.html and is 12.5" x 12.5" UF

It's the companion quilt to my Superman one: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-106192-1.htm

That came out great! I am going to copy that idea with a Disney theme for my dd. Thanks for sharing. I LOVED both the Batman AND Superman quilts ~ Pat

Lucy -- you are so way ahead of me with your super hero quilts. My DH is so very picky about what he wants -- no heads cut off, no upside down figures, etc. I have not even started his quilt because we have just picked out a pattern that he finds acceptible. I hope to be starting it sometime next month. I've also committed myself to a wall hanging and a bag that he can take to the Comic Book conventions. Wonder Con is coming up this weekend in San Francisco. I've made him a lanyard for his badge but that's as far as I've gotten. So good for you that you've gotten yours done and they are very nice. Good job. Now I need to get working on mine. Promise to show then when they are done.

It turned out great. You may find it busy, but some little boy is going to think it's soooo cool!
