this ended up being a quite large baby quilt, but I may have quite large grandbabies who knows?!

That's adorable, lucky baby. I didn't quilt when my grandkids were little
so have never made a baby quilt. Looks like fun. :lol: :)

Well actually I meant great grandbabies! I have 5 regular ones! I'm trying to make at least 5 nice baby quilts to put away in case I'm not around when they are old enough to have kids of their own.

What a nice idea. I am going to try and make my 4 grandkids a quilt for Xmas, am thinking of a jean rag quilt w/flannel backing so they can take them camping.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. One of my daughters said that she wants it so I told her to claim it for her first grand baby, she said no I want it! (but she's not getting it, shhhh)

Kathy! OMG! That is lovely! My Grandma made my son a CareBear quilt (what I like!)...It is probably 6-inch blocks of the same kind of Care Bear fabric you used and lots of other matching pastels. Yarn tied.

I think a larger baby quilt is nice. They can use it longer.
