Default bears

these are some pictures of another panel quilt i made few years back. The best friend of my oldest daughter asked if I would make a quilt for her husband's birthday which was around he 24th of the month. Of course, she asked me on the first of the month. told her I would try to at least get top done by then so we went shopping. she fell in love with the panel and the tan material as her husband loves bears of all kinds. I told her i would see what I could do with them. I found the green forest material and the brown/green print of bears at JoAnn's clearance rack. Finished the top two days before his birthday and quilted by end of March. He was sending the e-mail pic to all his friends and as soon as he received the finished quilt ,he had all his friends come to see it. My older brother also loved bears and liked the quilt so back to the store to buy another panel. He enjoyed his quilt until his death in 2007 of cancer; the quilt came back to me as my inheritance.

What a lovely quilt, and the trees go so well with the panel.

That is a great quilt for a man! The tree print is perfect for the tree blocks.

I love bears, too. I am trying to make a wall hanging with a panel and piecing, but yours is much nicer. Love it!

Those are, I am sure greatly appreciated. Panels can be a great assist, I have also found.
