My SIL requested something at the end of her bed for her cats and dog to sleep on. She's tired of the dog chewing threw her bedspreads and asked me to make something for that. Naturally, I used up some old blocks. She gets this one free. If she wants more chewy blankets, she will have to pay ;-) This fits across a king size bed and hangs down at least 14" on each side.

The bed scarf or bed runner is lovely. Bright and cheerful is what we need in the dark of winter. It's a nice way to use up scraps and you did a good job on it.

The dog need training. Even my Dobermans were taught after the first time, that they must not chew on anything that was mine. Of course, we had some arguments about what was mine and what was theirs, but I'm more stubborn and I was pack leader so they wound up well mannered. Otherwise, I'd have had some huge, powerful Doberman Delinquents.

She's going to let her dog chew that? Has she not heard of rawhide bones and dentastix? Sheeesh...I commend you for making something nice for her even knowing it's fate.

I had to laugh. I should have handed her a towel, but I was happy to make her something she wanted ;-)

I must agree here. The dog already chewed one, I don't think I would give it another one. You're a better person than I.
