    OK.. after I did the D9P picture tutorial some folks asked for another.. since no patterns were suggested, I've decided to do one of the Churn Dash, or Hole in the Barn Door pattern. I'm making a quilt of it after I got hooked on this fabric and pattern. I got the two fabrics here at the local Walmart. It is by "Springs Creative Fabrics" (that is what is on the selvedge.

    a panel I got to use on backing

    I'm making each block have a center square with one of the birds in it..
    the outside of the blocks are a shade of green and a color from the bird or fruit in the block
