    This quilt is mainly paperpieced. It began as meandering geese, then flowers. Next I but a loose border around the garden (not really sure what you call it). Since the geese are meandering, so was the quilting. Just have to bind it and it's off to a Sept 20 benefit for local woman who lost her leg.

    I posted a couple pictures a few weeks ago - I'll do it again to show my progress. This was quite an undertaking for a quilting newbie....but I think it turned out quite well. Still working on perfecting the 1/4" seam, so I can veer from the paper piecing.

    the meandering geese - paper pieced

    That is gorgeous for anyone, beginner or not. So much going on, but it all comes together nicely. Very nice work.
