Default Beyond the Color Purple - gorgeous embroidery

I just took this customer quilt off the frame. The gal who did the top took almost 2 years to finish it. It'a a Jenny Haskin's design called Beyond the Color Purple. What a beautiful quilt!!! I LOVE the embroidery and the color of this quilt. I used a double batting (cotton bottom, Legacy Wool on top). I did this to create some extra loft behind the embroidery and I love how that makes the embroidery pop - almost like a 3d effect.
