Default BFF Block Exchange Quilt #2

So about four years ago my BFF and I started a block exchange. Being about 2000 miles apart it was nice to receive actual snail mail with a surprise every month for 20 months. Her stipulation was to have bright colors and different every block. Mine was to have pink and green in every block. During this time period I was diagnosed with cancer and my DD had a brain tumor - surgery and follow-up treatment. My BFF's mother also had a cancer dx and treatment. But now we are all in the clear and we named my quilt "In the Pink" . It has a tonal hot pink backing fabric. It took us another 20 months to get around to finishing them but we're both now feeling the love of friendship while we snuggle under our BFF quilts. Please go check out BFF Block Exchange Quilt #1 to see hers.
P.S. - We've been discussing our next one already.

What a lovely quilt. I am glad you are all in the "Pink" now. I just love this kind of snail mail.

It was such a fun project with you. I'm soooo glad we got them finished. I love sitting under it on these cool evenings and looking at each block and enjoying all the work we put into them. ILY!

A lovely quilt and a story that touched my heart. It is good to hear that all involved are 'in the pink'. Friends are definitely 'chosen family'.
