Default I got a New Home...

I have a neigbor who does work for an old guy and he was cleaning out a house this guy bought and plans to rent to own... anyhow I asked if there were any antiques they found and he told me about a sewing machine they found. Well I called the guy and offered him twenty dollars for it and he said twenty five will do. I went to the bank and came back and got my new toy. Sews so nice I love it more than my other machines and they are new. Also for Fifteen more dollars I walked away with three drawers full or old thread on wood spools two tins of buttons and tons of needles and zippers and bias tape, hooks, knitting and crochet needles, so here are some pictures of my new home. Oh I was depressed when I cleaned her off the two labels that were on the machine- the pictures came off but the painted stuff stayed on.

Bummer about the decals. YOu should check out the vintage machine section. There are many solvents and cleaners that aren't good for the finish of sewing machines and should be avoided.
