I went to the new St. Vincent de Paul store today. (Now actually called St. Vinnies.) They were having a 50% off sale on everything! I found two huge plastic bags full of fabric for $10 dollars each. I got them both for $10. When I got home it felt like my birthday! There were 71 pieces of good quality, cotton fabric, in total, and none under a yard! I guess I can ignore the rising cotton prices for a while! lol!

Reminds me that that's where my fabric will wind up if I don't start using up some of my fabric and NOT buy anymore.....Where would all that fabric go if you suddenly die or just can't sew......

I already have a cute little vulture circling my sewing room. My DN is drooling, she has agreed to inherit! Her father, my brother, is sure that "his kid" would never do something as 'mundane' as sewing. Wrong, wrong, wrong, little brother!

I love a good deal and I would go to the "thrift stores" before going anywhere else.Yard sales are an excellent treasure trove too.
