Here is my second quilt - titled "Birds". It is for Mom's 65th birthday - and she loves it. She picked the fabric, pattern and the layout of the blocks all the while not knowing it was for her. LOL!! First time FMQ on my Brother 6000i - once my DH cut the desk and set the machine into it almost level - everything worked like a dream! :) Enjoy looking on your galloping horse :D

    Measures after washing are 63 x 72.75

With backing. Couldn't get the true colors to come out with camera :( It is soft browns and teal colored

10 minute block table runner my DH asked me to whip up today to give to his parents tomorrow. LOL took almost 7 hours to whip it out - but like how it turned out.

Very pretty, I made quilt for my moms 75th and had to lie to her when she caught me sewing on it. She loved it though when I gave it to her.

LOL Mom only asked me once who it was for - and we got distracted, so did not lie to her - just didn't tell her. Her birthday isn't till Thursday but hubby couldn't wait any longer (got it finished last night LOL) so we gave it to her this am.

Thanks for all the kind words! The tube method for the quilt and the 10 minute block both came from here in the tutorials section. (Unfortunelty don't remember which ones.) Thank you!
