My dear quilting friends, I'm very sad as the one I wanted to spend the rest of my days with has left me. He doesn't want to be in this relationship anymore, at least not now. We had a lot of troubles but I was convinced we could work things out. Turns out he isn't so sure. So I try to get through the day, try working on my mom's quilt because I don't know what else to do now.

Thank you all for your comforting words, hugs and your lovely comments on my quilt. I know I will get wherever I have to be but it's a hard and very painful road to travel. I'm very thankful having you as my (virtual) friends!
I made a block today, it doesn't look straight but once in the quilt no one will notice It's block # 22 Grandmother's Choice.

QuiltE, thanks to Photoshop you don't notice anymore
Here's the block I made yesterday. Last Friday I hurt my right wrist very badly, yesterday I thought it went better but today I almost fainted because of the pain so no quilting for the time being This block needs some adjusting too when sewing into the quilt, it's a bit too big (6 3/4" instead of 6 1/2") but I don't feel like doing it again now. Maybe I will, not sure yet.
