Default A birthday gift for my friend from third grade O-O

I was texting my friend showing her pix of all different quilts I made and she absolutely loved every one of them then she text me a msg "you know my birthday is coming soon....just saying" so I ignored her msg because immediately I thought of the yard of fabric of Maxine that I bought couple of days back and a light bulb just went on....off to making something. I started with couple of mug rugs then thought about this wonky pattern and I found out I have the magazine with the pattern (score). 24 hours later I have this ready, quilted with stipples on my long arm and packaged to be mailed out tomorrow morning. Btw her birthday is on the 9th and probably the package will get there same day....how cool is that???
Hope you like it

That's cute! My aunt gave me a potholder last Christmas that someone had made from a "Maxine" block.

Very cute. I love Maxine. I made throws for BFF and SIL for Christmas from Maxine panels.
