Very easy, NOT POSSITIVE without looking at my paper but I believe I cut my rectangles (or bricks not sure which you call them) 8 x 5-1/2 Inch, sew 6 bricks together in row of 3 by 2. Then when you join your block of 6 together just turn every other one so the next one would be 2x3 rows. Hard to explain, but once you look closely you will see what I mean.
