My daughter and her little son are having birthdays this month. My little grandson said he wanted books for his birthday. Since he is very interested in whales, I made him this little book bag and will fill it with goodies and these whale books. I'm happy with the way it turned out and think he will like it too. My daughter is a Mary Englebreit fan and I think she will like my star. I just got it back from the quilter and think she did a fabulous job on it. I hope she likes it!

Wow, that's a very spiffy book bag! The star is very nice, too. I'm sure they'll both be excited and happy with their presents.

What a great idea to have a whale tote to carry his whale books. Your quilt for your daughter is awesome. You gotta love those fabrics and the quilting is great. Wonderful gifts for both of them.
