Babylock QPC and frame

For those who have pondered purchasing a Babylock Quilters' Choice Pro ... or Quilters' Pro Choice, I thought you might appreciate some pictures of my set up with a Grace Pinnacle quilting frame.
Keep in mind that the machine will not quilt all of that space from the boy's fingertips to elbows, but the carriage WILL support and eighteen inch mid-arm machine ... HOWEVER:
When you go to purchase a new machine, a better-designed table will only be about a thousand dollars more ...

Thank you for the perspective. There sure isn't much room to quilt. By the time you have half a quilt rolled up under there you will only have a few inches. That's one of the reasons I am not interested in a 9" throat machine. I figure I want at least 18" to start with so I can quilt a 9 - 12 inch block.

I will be working on a quilt tomorrow, and I will try to remember to take the camera in with me, so you can see how much space there is to work when 72"+ is rolled up in there. I have learned to really put the pressure on while rolling the quilt up.
I don't ever intend to do a lot of heavy quilting, but I sure would appreciate opening up things so that the six inches or so of quilting area isn't so obvious and pronounced. <wave>

I wanted to show you the machine when it has a quilt being worked on. At the last, you will see that I have a lap robe on, measuring 56x72 ... the blocks in the pictures are five inches square, to try to give you some perspective.

daughter figured out this pattern the first time she tried quilting

The first picture of this thread shows the frame, loaded with a backing (top rail), the top (the lower middle rail), and the batting (bottom rail) ... the take up rail is in the machine. And, true to form <g> I have managed to pile a TON of stuff under the frame ... it is handy for that <g> <wave>
