Default Black and White Abstract Art, a wip

I started working on this quilt yesterday. It's going to be a graduation gift for my DGS in Florida. His Mom suggested these colors, which are WAY out of my normal comfort zone. But I've got to tell you, I'm having so much fun making these high contrast, contemporary (at least to me they look contemporary) blocks. These are finishing at 12 inches, so if I keep plugging along I should have the top finished in a couple of weeks. I plan to quilt it with wavy vertical lines, that will help to keep me on schedule.

Your guilt is very interesting. I really enjoy looking at each block individually. I also like the colors.

Love the modern look. Black and white quilts are great, and your spots of red really add a fun punch of color. Can't wait to see the whole quilt

Oh! I love this - each individual block looks like a work of art. Are you going to sash them?

This type of quilt is out of my comfort zone also but I have to say, you're doing a wonderful job and I really like it. It's a great gift.
