Default Blind Spin

So I had this brilliant(?) idea to do the star spin pattern using only solids. I didn't give it too much thought because if I did, I would have not done half the work that went into it . But ...moving on.

I saw leah days sink hole quilt. If you haven't seen it, run go look now. It had an unfortunate but epic ending. She really inspired me to do something similar with my masterpiece (?). I used the lyrics from one of my favorite songs.. It reads:

I am folded
and unfolded
and unfolding
I am, colorblind.

It had a ton of problems, (inside corners can suck it ) but it turned out pretty cool-ish. Not quite a masterpiece but eh. close enough. Wish I would have done a few things different but you live and you learn. I need to plan things better. I really admire those of you who can formulate and execute.

This is very cool! I would proudly hang this in my sewing room, if I were you.

Thanks. I think she is fantastic. The fact that she has risen so far above her past is awesome. What a wonderful way to burn up the past.
