I did the log cabin blocks but the others are from a B & W block swap from another board. I just got this back from the quilter today and I need to add the binding then I will give it to my co -workers 12 yr old daughter, they lost their house in a fire a month ago and there were several gifts for her little sister from people at work but no so much for Megan so I decided to finish this and give to Megan.
She will love it because its "cool" and at 12 being cool is what its all about. I think its beautiful and thank you for helping them out get a new start. Its not easy starting over. Every kind gesture counts.

Very attractive arrangement...yes, it is waaaaay cool enough for a 12 year old...hey, I'm not anywhere near 12 and I love it. Very nice of you to notice that this girl needed something special...she'll remember your caring whenever kindness is discussed....quilts are soft but they make deep impressions!

I also "borrowed" the layout of the quilt from the other board
it looks great - using the two different types of log cabins makes it look totally different....
Nice!!! great 'tween' quilt, and how much Megan will treasure it!!
She will love it and most likely treasure it all her life.
I love the spare use of the colors. They really pop out.
