    A friend showed me how to make the center square. I love how it looks!!

    very nice... funny you should post now... i was just looking thru a pattern i'd counted on doing with some "homespun and plaids" i collected.... it calls for a 4patch thing with triangles creating the "strip".... i am going to do a "braid" instead.. much easier and i think i'll like the use of fabrics better...
    Your's is stunning... thanks for sharing it..
