My husband asked me about a week before Christmas to make him a new quilt (although there are plenty in the closet). I was happy to do this; he asks so little and yet gives so much. He wasn't fussy about colors, patterns, etc, which made this so easy to find fabrics I already had on hand. He loves it, but then so do the dog and the cats!

My daughter would love this! She's done her whole apartment in black and white with a splash of red accent here and there.

My dog (yellow lab) loves all my quilts, too...even when I don't want her to love them so much. But, what's a little more dog hair???? Your quilt is beautiful.

lynneander,

This is one beautiful quilt! What a sec . . . DH just asked for it a week before Christmas, and you've already finished it?! Unbelievable. I am putting a photo of this quilt in my "Quilts to Make" binder. It's a fat binder, thanks to all of the wonderful quilts I'm seeing on this board. I already decided to make my SIL a black and white lap quilt with a touch of red in it: now I have the quilt pattern I need.
