Hi What is reverse enginnered mean??? I love this quilt and I can't wait to start on it. Did you use 6 or 7 colors. Also did you use grays? I'm sure you will be a grand champship winner!!! Fabulous

The pattern has pressing instructions and if followed will cause the seams to nest together perfectly - no pinning required. The quilt goes together like butter, I promise.

When you opt to "reverse engineer" a pattern, rather than buy it, you miss these wonderful little nuggets of wisdom that many designers include. When you buy patterns, you support the companies that make them and in turn insure a continued supply of clever and creative ideas that will excite and inspire you.

I've got my patttern and plan to do it in purple batiks for my DGD. Hope it turns out as nice as yours.
