The back is a solid black, the same fabric as the border and binding.

I'm pleased with the Black and White quilt you have posted! I wasn't attracted to the Yellow brick Road pattern when it was first published but have seen so many made with various fabrics that it has become one of my favorites. I hadn't thought of B & W but it is a big success as far as I'm concerned!
I want to also invite you to zip over to Pampa to see a quilt show the guild here is having in October - the 24th and 25th I believe. It will be in the library and with no charge to view the quilts. The members just felt the urge to show the public what they have accomplished. Hope yoou can come over! Mary
