Default blackjack candy

A couple of days ago i posted a thread wondering how to make a smaller size jelly roll quilt - kinda like the 1600 but smaller. Well as someone suggested i needed to jump right in so yesterday i found a fat eight bundle of grays, blacks and white and it just screamed "BUY ME!" tonight i went in my sewing room and in about two hours had this top whipped up. it definitely has some errors ( i sewed them wrong and instead of ripping them out i just sliced it off the end!) and i just guessitmated how much to chop off the first end to make a staggered look. i took the fat eights and cut them into 3 inch strips added some three inch strips of pink. i like the way it turned out. took it to my quilting friend and my sister and they both thought it turned out to be a good size for a lap quilt or baby quilt. i called it blackjack cuz it reminded me of the blackjack candy - you know the taffy like ones that had black white and pink in it! sorry it turned out so blurry!

I totally agree! I love the quilt & know a sweet little baby would, too. You should whip up a tutorial for this cutie!
