Default The Blacksmith

This is the finished comfort quilt for my friend who is a volunteer blacksmith in a historic village during the season. He will start treatment for lymphoma very soon.

The center panel represents a chart I found on Google images that shows the color of the heated metal for performing different tasks on it. The wording to the sides show what is done at those heat levels. I chose the aqua blue to represent the water for cooling the metal and the bubbles from the hot metal entering the water.
