These are all needle-turned, following the instructions from the author, Poakalani. And yes, I will hand quilt them, also the Hawaiian way; although I'm still thinking of a way to put them together, as I don't have enough of the batik fabrics.

Your blocks are beautiful and your quilt will be spectacular. It sure makes me think of sunny days.

Hi, I'm being blonde here, when you say you needle turned, were these reverse applique? Or did you needle turn top fabric? Does that make sense?

Your blocks are just beautiful. Winter just doesn't want to release it's miserable grip here in the northeast this year. Sometimes it's good to get away from the isolation of the sewing room. Sometimes the sewing room is a comfort but for me at least, too many hours spent makes it feel like a sweat shop. Put on a grass skirt and a Don Ho record, mix yourself a tropical drink and enjoy!

Your blocks are beautiful. Did you get the patterns in Hawaii? The creators name sounds it. I'll be very interested to see how you decide to put it together. Joyce in DE
